While touring in the former Soviet Union as a bass player with the legendary Estonian band Ruja, Vladislav Reinfeldt realized that a career change was in order. Reinfeldt says, “The band was being pressured to sing in Russian (instead of Estonian) while newer band members like myself were trying evolve the band’s sound into something more contemporary like Kansas, Toto and Journey. We were staying in hotels forgotten by God himself drinking too much vodka. That was a long time ago.” he laughs. Now I prefer coffee to vodka.” After a short stint with Nevil Blumberg Band, Reinfeldt then moved onto to studio life where he produced a solo release of instrumental music titled “The Coasts of Endlessness” for Italian label Mellow Records as well as a collaboration with DJ Alloy called “Roboghost” which was featured in last year’s Keyboard Magazine Unsigned-Artists-of the Month compilation CD. Since the late ‘90s Reinfeldt has been working for Estonian media company AS Trio LSL as a spot producer and audio engineer. At his home studio he composes in a musical style we like to call “synthetic warmth” yielding best sellers like “#0190 Pigeon Harassment”
