Dave Osoff

Dave Osoff can tell you the exact moment he knew he wanted to be a keyboard player: “Back around 1985, I saw Santana with Chester Thompson and Tom Coster playing keyboards and was completely wowed. Right around the same time I saw Deep Purple on their reunion tour. After watching John Lord play the B3 with the passion and intensity that he does, I knew what I wanted to do from then on...”

For the past 15 years, Osoff has been an independent recording artist, composer and touring musician in the Boston area. Dave has performed and recorded with many regional and national artists, including Rounder recording artist Michelle Wilson and Evil Gal, Tone-Cool recording artist Tony Lynn Washington, former Stax artist Sandra Wright, and Boston artists the Vykki Vox Band, Max Creek, and the new live trance/house/ electronica project, Nikulydin.

Dave’s debut instrumental album, ‘Mosaic’, which brings together adventurous contemporary and acid jazz, funk, pop, electronica and more, is currently receiving quite a bit of airplay and press around the USA, has been featured in several publications, including Keyboard Magazine, who named him the July 2002 Unsigned Artist of the Month.
