John Roberts
When a composer has a strong enough resume, he can say whatever he wants. John Roberts has had more music played on TV than anyone else at BBM.net. So when John Roberts says, "I like Yanni," out of respect, we have to like Yanni too.

For years, John has been writing kick-ass music for TBS, Cartoon Network, CNN, NBC and just about every ad agency in the Southeast. John's arsenal is a maxed-out Gigasampler, Kork Karma, and a host of other synths all being run by Digital Performer. One of John's big advantages in writing good music is his sound design experience in Pro Tools, as heard in his award-winning promo work for TNT. And on top of all that, just to piss the other composers off, John writes all his orchestral scores out by hand.

So while John dominates the Internet with his brand of pseudo-techno-orchestra music, we will be loitering in his composing suite. Maybe then we can sneek a peak at his CD collection to see if he was serious about the Yanni thing.
